Banda's Grove - Press Kit
A downloadable press kit
The fragments intermingled, not neatly defined, but patched and twisted into each other all radiating out from where Banda stood. You can find the springy ground and dazzling colors of Alohi blended with the cold, snowy lands of Cluthar. The dry grasses and stone of Ágil folded around the dense, lush blues and floating fauna of Pese Malosi. The peoples are just as wonderful and varied as the worlds they inhabit.
Excerpt from the journal of Ranger Murie.
First of the Grove
A crackling campfire, a cozy cabin, roasting s’mores, and a primordial quantum being holding the entire campground together.
There’s really nothing quite like living at Banda’s Grove.
WHAT IS BANDA’S GROVE?
Banda’s Grove is a diceless, community building TTRPG by Pandion Games for 1 or more players. To get up and running, a no-prep tutorial for the first session called the New Camper Orientation Course is provided.
The game is inspired by Wanderhome by Jay Dragon, Belonging Outside Belonging by Avery Alder and Benjamin Rosenbaum, Outer Wilds by Mobius Digital, and Cozy Grove by Spry Fox.
A 172-page full color PDF includes everything you need to play. Pandion Games will be crowdfunding a print version in the future. PDF press copies are available.

WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING
It is rare to find a game which so thoroughly eschews the pattern of conquest and violence which governs most tabletop. Banda's Grove embraces the simple rhythms of daily life in an alien and beautiful place and allows us to tend to our environment, make friends with the world, and pour our hearts into a place that matters. It imagines a world where we can care for our home and pour our heart into it, a rarity in modern life.
- Jay Dragon
Creator of Wanderhome
Banda’s Grove is a place of charming idiosyncrasy, rich with fantastical fauna, gentle caretakers, and existential quantum hazards --- a cozy convergence of campgrounds from across the multiverse that welcomes you with campfire beans and ramshackle cabins. In its fractal ecosystem of friendships and festivals and foodstuffs, Banda’s Grove offers itself as a home for all of us: spirits and bodies, searching for the warmth of community and equilibrium, however ephemeral that might be.

Such a delightful, gorgeously-written game about going to a cozy wilderness camp in a quantum realm - who wouldn't want a place to belong, friends to travel with, and mysteries to explore? It supports deep storytelling, but is lightweight enough to play around a campfire. I love the gorgeous worldbuilding that is otherworldly yet familiar at the same time - a perfect sandbox to play in.
Bandas Grove by Pandion Games honestly feels like a breath of fresh air. Within the first couple of words, you immediately get sucked into a wonderful setting full of wonders to explore and friends to meet. The mechanics are simple, yet convey the feeling of the game extremely well. To add on top of this, the 10 playbooks included in the game look so fun to play, I could not decide which one I'd pick for myself. This is a game I would introduce to my table any day.
- René-Pier Deshaies / Fari RPGs
This game has everything I ever wanted from a TTRPG: action, coziness, respect for nature, map making, no dice, and tons of fun. As a camper myself, I can’t wait to come across a planar fragment and pitch my tent while learning new things and singing songs around a campfire, and checking up on Banda (maybe I can rub their belly!). I’m looking forward to helping Banda and Murie care for all the things in the campsite and have fun the way they do in different dimensions. The layers of wholesome tenderness, interesting mechanics, and gripping mystery this game has, leave me astonished. I’m really itching to see these wonderful and diverse dimensions in play and to get my first Pebble so I can do something amazing!

FROM ANDREW
I started writing Banda’s Grove simply as a game to escape and exist in a campground setting on earth, like the kind you can go visit today.
But it has become much more than that when I started asking questions: What do campgrounds look like on other worlds? And what if they were all thrown together at the same place and asked to exist together? How did they come to be like that? What do people do there? What kind of mischief do they get into?
The game kept growing into what it is now: a place of community, festivals, wandering spirits in need of friendship, and an exploration of a fragmented world held together by the little prairie dog at the center of it all.
